Tim Elsberry
![]()

Tim began playing guitar at age 14 and mandolin at 15. He plays guitar, mandolin, dobro, fiddle, bass and banjo. He sings lead and harmony and writes many of the groups original songs. He spent his younger days playing in Bluegrass and Country Groups. In his early 30's, he felt led to share his music in the Churches and joined a Southern Gospel Group. Feeling that he had not yet found his place, Tim left with the intent of forming a Bluegrass Gospel Group. He along with his wife JoAnn, Brother Mark Ferguson and Brother James Sanford formed the High Point Quartet in 1993. Tim stayed with the High Point until 2005 when he felt led to start the Elsberry Family.
In March of 2002, Union Grove Baptist Church of Haralson County GA, licensed Tim to preach the Holy Gospel. He's always felt mighty little and unworthy of all the blessings God has bestowed upon him and his family.

Tim plays almost all of the Bluegrass instruments. Here's a photo of Tim tuning up the bass before a performance.

Tim and JoAnn have been happily
married since 1985 and music has always been a part of their family.
Here
is a photo of Tim with his good buddy and one of his favorite preachers the
Rev. Furman Wilson. Brother Furman was an original member of the Primitive
Quartet and has longed proved himself a humble and faithful servant of the Most
High God!

Tim pictured with Bobby Osborne of the Osborne Brothers. Tim was in a band that opened a show for the Osborne Brothers when he was in his teens. As you can tell by looking at both of them, it was a while ago.

Here is a picture of my family on my daughter's wedding day Oct. 20, 2001.
